Celebrating 77 Years of Indian Democracy
Raj Public Sr. Sec. School is proud to announce the grand celebration of the 77th Republic Day on 26th January 2026. This momentous occasion marks the adoption of the Indian Constitution and celebrates the sovereignty of our great nation.
Significance of Republic Day
Republic Day holds special significance in every Indian's heart. It was on this day in 1950 that the Constitution of India came into effect, transforming India into a sovereign, socialist, secular, and democratic republic. This day reminds us of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and the vision of our founding fathers.
Our Celebration Highlights
At Raj Public School, we believe in celebrating our national festivals with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. This year's Republic Day celebration will feature:
- Flag Hoisting Ceremony: The tricolor flag will be hoisted by our honorable Principal at 7:30 AM sharp
- March Past: Students from all four houses will participate in a synchronized march past
- Cultural Performances: Patriotic dances, skits, and musical performances by our talented students
- Patriotic Speech Competition: Students will express their thoughts on democracy and freedom
- Prize Distribution: Recognition of outstanding students in various categories
Message from the Principal
"Republic Day is not just a celebration of our past achievements but also a reminder of our responsibilities towards building a stronger nation. I urge all students to understand the importance of democracy and contribute positively to our country's development. Let's celebrate this day with pride and renewed commitment to our nation."
Guidelines for Parents and Students
- All students must arrive at school by 7:45 AM
- Students should wear clean and ironed school uniforms
- Parents are welcome to attend the flag hoisting ceremony
- Photography is allowed during the cultural program
- Students participating in performances should report to their respective teachers
Previous Year's Success
Last year's Republic Day celebration was a tremendous success with over 500 students participating in various activities. The cultural program was appreciated by all parents and dignitaries present. This year, we aim to make it even more memorable with new additions to our celebration.
