On 15th August 2025, Raj Public Senior Secondary School, Sojat City, proudly celebrated the 79th Independence Day of India with patriotic zeal, heartfelt tribute, and the spirit of unity that binds our great nation.
This day marks not only India’s liberation from colonial rule in 1947 but also reflects the immense sacrifices made by countless freedom fighters whose courage and vision built the foundation of modern India. At RPS Sojat, this day is more than a ceremonial observance—it is an opportunity to inspire young minds, foster national pride, and celebrate the values of liberty, equality, and unity.
The morning of 15th August dawned with excitement and anticipation. The school campus was adorned with tricolor flags, decorative banners, and vibrant rangoli designs created by students. Teachers, students, parents, and staff gathered for a solemn and joyful occasion that began with the hoisting of the national flag by our respected Principal, followed by the soulful rendition of the National Anthem.
Patriotic Performances and Cultural Tribute
Students from various classes showcased their love for the country through:
Patriotic songs and dances
Poetry recitations in Hindi and English
Short skits depicting moments from India’s freedom struggle
A special march-past and guard of honor by NCC cadets and Scouts
The performances not only highlighted India’s rich cultural heritage but also reminded us of the responsibility that freedom brings. The dedication, discipline, and enthusiasm of the students made the celebration truly unforgettable.
